Characters are NPCS who help Fury on his journey. This table below lists all charcter sin the game.

| The Inkmaster | Serves as a shopkeeper who wants to trade with Golden Ink. Has a random selection of items in his shop. The inkmaster also unlocks new weapons if you give him weapon sketches. | |||
| Vlad the peaceful | Being Hurt by Vlad does not break your "combo shields or ruin your combo meter".
This NPC is different from "The Devil" who bargains with Fury's "Max hp". | |||
| The Order Of Eternal Ink | Gives Fury permanent buffs in echange for Golden Ink, has 3 types of donations, 50, 150, and 250. 50 and 150 level donations have a chance to give no buff, while 250 donations always work. | The Higher level donations only increase tge chance of getting a buff, higher levels font mean you get stronger buffs. E.g 50 ink can give you 15% reload speed, while 250 could give you 5% reload speed, etc. | ||
| The Devil | Has 3 random scrolls that each have a positive effect and a negative effect. The negative cost of these scrolls is always losing a certain % of Max health. | Not to be confused with Vlad the peaceful who only damages Fury.
Taking a scroll deal won't damage your combo shields or ruin your combo. | ||
| Mistress of fate | Gives Fury weapon sketches that he needs to deliver to the Inkmaster to unlock a new weapon into the weapon pool. She also appears in white portal challenge rooms to rward fury for completing them. | The weapon sketch quest always appears in Chapter 2 of any comic. | ||
| The Blademaster | Gives Fury 2 types of quests that involve killing enemies with melee weapons. The Blademaster also has starter weapon quests which permanently unlock a new melee weapon to start with. | Stomping enemies does not count as a melee kill. | ||

| Gunlord | Has a shop similar to the Inkmaster and also trades with Golden Ink. The Gunlord also has "Starter weapon quests" which permanently unlock a new gun weapon for Fury to start with. | The Gunlord only sells weapons, grenades, and superpowers. No armor. | ||
| Dr BloodStein | Heals Fury in Echange for Golden Ink, has 3 levels of Healing, the highets level gives Fury the most health. | |||
| Gundar the undead armorer | Trades with Golden Ink and repairs Fury's armor if its damaged. | You cant repair armor if its not damaged. | ||
| Mr Doodles | Appears at the end of chapters, a star icon will be on the map. Mr Doodles tells the story of Fury unleashed and is a twist villain. | The first time you enter sketch book world you will immediately fight Mr Doodles. |
Character Squares have a small chance of being a Mimic, a type of enemy that haunts character square to trick Fury. (Image)
Standing inside a charcter square refreshes your combo meter and stops it from going down when you are near them, same with chests. (GIF)
